Jakarta - PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Protelindo) continues to show its commitment to positively contributing to the surrounding community by holding a scholarship program for High Achieving Students who are underprivileged at the senior high school level. 

Protelindo has regularly provided scholarships for senior high school or vocational high school and university students throughout Indonesia. From 2013 to 2019, the Company provided even-year scholarships to more than 2,200 students from 129 schools in 56 cities and regions. 

"We hope that this scholarship program can encourage the Indonesian young generation to be enthusiastic about achieving their achievements and dreams, despite facing economic constrains." said Indra Gunawan, Director of Protelindo. Those eligible for this scholarship are students with outstanding achievements who are financially constrained.

During the period 2022 - 2024, Protelindo provided scholarships for as many as 425 students, which were distributed through a donation ceremony at selected senior high schools / vocational high schools (SMA/ SMK) spread across several locations, including:

• Soreang - 30 students at SMAN 1 Soreang.
• Denpasar - 40 students at SMKN 2 Denpasar and SMAN 5 Denpasar
• Garut - 60 students at SMAN 1 Garut, SMAN 6 Garut, and SMAN 11 Garut
• Palangkaraya - 70 students at SMAN 1 Palangkaraya, SMK Al Ishlah and SMAN 10 Palangkaraya. 
• Medan - 40 students at SMA Swasta Al Hidayah and SMK Swasta Teladan Medan
• Manado - 30 students at SMAN 7 Manado
• Bandar Lampung - 60 students at SMAN 6 & SMAN 17 Bandar Lampung. 
• DKI Jakarta - 60 students at SMAN 36 Jakarta and SMAN 4 Jakarta
