Jakarta - Protelindo Group, a telecommunications infrastructure and internet services provider in Indonesia, is supporting the conservation project for the Javan leopard (Panthera pardus melas), conducted by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) in collaboration with the Sintas Indonesia Foundation.

Satyawan Pudyatmok, the Director General of Natural Resources and Ecosystem Conservation at KLHK, emphasized the importance of involvement from all sectors in this national survey. He highlighted that managing wildlife should begin with a comprehensive inventory of data to formulate appropriate ongoing programs to address the complex issues related to this top predator's population.

Protelindo Group is committed to contributing to the conservation efforts for this protected wildlife species. The project aims not only to map the population structure of the Javan leopard and its prey preferences but also to generate accurate basic data on the population status and prey preferences of the Javan leopard based on strong scientific principles.

"We believe that environmental sustainability is a shared responsibility. Through support for this project, Protelindo Group hopes to make a positive contribution to preserving Indonesia's biodiversity for future generations," said Vice President Director of Protelindo, Adam Gifari.
